The Super Bowl 2014 takes place on February 2, and will have the Broncos play against the Seahawks in the Big Game. Besides the game there will be again a huge line-up of Super Bowl ads. Fox managed to charge $4 million on average for 30 second spots. A new Super Bowl advertiser has come forward with a huge announcement joining our Super Bowl 2014 Ad Line-up . Bank of America has partnered with U2 for a very special 60 second Super Bowl ad and has commited to more than $10 million to fight AIDS over the next 2 years.
The Bank of America Red Super Bowl 2014 will debut a new U2 single titled Invisible. The new U2 song will be available as a limited edition release on iTunes for free download during the Super Bowl and for the following 24 hours.
For every download during that timeframe, Bank of America will donate $1, up to $2 million total, to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, which provides life-saving HIV/AIDS treatment, testing and prevention services to tens of millions of people in the world’s poorest countries.
U2's Bono said, "Bank of America coming on as a (RED) partner to help the Global Fund's efforts to eliminate AIDS is great news. It's the kind of game-changing influence that will not just deliver millions of dollars but raise consciousness and keep public pressure on putting an end to this devastating pandemic which has already taken the lives of 35 million people. And just in...the bank's commitment of $10 million has resulted in the Gates Foundation, SAP and Africa's Motsepe Family matching for a total of $22 million. Incredible."
Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl. The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
