LG G Pro 2 will go official next month at MWC in Barcelone.

Many of us had been wondering about the successor of the LG Optimus G Pro and it wasn’t a question of doubt. But everyone had been anxiously waiting for what it would be and LG has put an end to the wait by making the official announcement for this much awaited successor and disclosing the final name. The new upcoming tablet is the LG G Pro 2 which is going official in the next month with the MWC in Barcelona very much expected.

The handset is still a long way from being released to the public and none have seen it yet but the removal of the ‘Optimus’ tag does not at all come as a surprise to us. This new handset is going to form part of the G lineup and LG intends to keep it as simple as that, after all this strategy has done pretty well for the high end smartphones of the G lineup by LG.Some might find it odd that LG’s announcement was merely for the sake of disclosing the name of their upcoming G Pro 2 but those who are well aware of the past releases would know that this style has been adopted by LG before as well when it made an announcement for the name of its current flagship LG G2.
