Thin smartphone offers style on a budget
Not all cool looking Android smartphones cost $500 or more without a contract. Blu Products has announced its latest smartphone that runs the Android operating system and has an impressively low price. The phone is called the Blu Vivo 4.8 HD.
The smartphone has a 4.8-inch AMOLED display and a 1.5GHz quad core processor. The processor is a MediaTek MT6589T running at 1.5GHz. The screen has a native resolution of 720 x 1280. The operating system for the smartphone is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The phone has an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The camera can record full HD resolution video. The smartphone also has a 5MP front camera and 16GB of internal storage.
The smartphone processor is paired with 1GB of RAM. Power comes from a Lithium ion 2000 mAh internal battery. The Vivo 4.8HD measures 137 x 70 x 6.9mm and weighs 135 grams. The phone is available in pink, green, white, and black colors for $249.
