A couple of days ago we had two announcements from Sony; the Sony Xperia E1 and the Xperia T2 Ultra phablet were announced by the company side by side. We have had all sorts of information on the two devices especially the Xperia E1 and thanks to Sony, they have enlightened their customers with all that there was to know about the phone. The only missing component of information is the price and availability.
No official information has been given on when the phone will be made available to customers and since nothing was given to us by Sony itself, we can rely on whatever information we have from other sources. As suggested by a UK retailer's listing, the phone will be out by the month of March and will be priced at €139 for the single-SIM model, and €149 for the dual-SIM version.
This information on the price has been coming from a German retailer. Some time has passed since we got our hands on this piece of information and by now Amazon has already listed the Xperia E1 as being available on its UK and the DE websites. The phone is going to be available from the 10th of March and the UK website of Amazon has it for £149.99 while the phone is priced at €139 on the DE website.
