/* Story Top Left 2010 300x250, created 7/15/10 */ google_ad_slot = "8340327155";

This year the number of celebrities appearing in Super Bowl ads is huge. The most buzz is though created by Scarlett Johansson for SodaStream.

The Super Bowl 2014 takes place on February 2, and will have the Broncos play against the Seahawks in the Big Game. Besides the game there will be again a huge line-up of Super Bowl ads. Fox managed to charge $4 million on average for 30 second spots. As more and more Super Bowl 2014 ads and ad teasers listed in our Super Bowl 2014 Ad Line-up are released we get a clearer picture on just how many celebrities are going to appear in ads this year.

Last year's list of celebrities in Super Bowl ads was already about a dozen names long, but this year the list is much longer. The Bud Light Super Bowl 2014 ad has alone 4 celebrities and 5 rock stars. As rock stars are also celebs, we are already at 9 celebrities, just in one Super Bowl Ad. A top celebrity alone is though no guarantee for a successful Super Bowl ad. You need buzz. The most buzz this year is clearly generated by Scarlett Johansson. It is mostly bad PR, but as the saying goes there is no bad PR.

The buzz is coming from the controversy of Scarlett Johansson being involved with the Israeli based SodaStream. The critics do not like the West Bank factories of SodaStream. Humanitarian organization Oxfam is one of the biggest critics of Johansson. She was though Oxfam ambassador for the past 8 years. Now Sshe quit Oxfam and stands by her SodaStream deal.

SodaStream had really made the right choice with Scarlett Johansson. I could not go better for the brand in the Super Bowl. Watch the sexy uncensored SodaStream Super Bowl 2014 Ad below. See also our Celebrity Super Bowl ad track list below.
