Last Minute Super Bowl Ticket Buying Tips

The Super Bowl is a singular event for many reasons, one of which is its exclusive use of paper tickets for the game.  That’s right, for the SuperBowl, eTickets don’t exist. At an average price of $2,715, it’s one of the top two or three most expensive events every year.   At such an elevated price point, there’s a huge opportunity for fraud, which is a big part of why the NFL chooses to only use paper for the Super Bowl.  Visit TiqIQ’s Super Bowl Page for a full list of remaining options.  Upper level tickets are going for around $1,500 and lower-level tickets start from $2,000. Last week, there was $100,000 bust for counterfeit Super Bowl tickets. Over the last few weeks, there have been other high profile fakes circulating, including fake Kanye West tickets.  In addition to avoiding fakes, it’s also nice to have something to hang on your wall after it’s over.

While paper tickets are great to help limit fraud, they do present logistical challenges for anyone looking to make a last-minute buying decision. If you’re thinking about going to the game and don’t yet have tickets, it’s probably best not to rely on scalpers outside of Metlife stadium.  For anyone watching the market and waiting for the perfect deal,  we’ve laid out details on how and where to get your hands on your $2,000 piece of holographic-infused cardboard to make sure you get into the game for kick-off.  Below is a list of the major vendors on TiqIQ who sell tickets for the Super Bowl, and who have available inventory.

Primesport: Pick-Up Location: The Graycliff, located at 290 Moonachie Ave in Moonachie, NJ. Phone number  (201) 939-9233. Shuttle transportation is available from the Rutherford NJ Transit Station to Club PrimeSport at The Graycliff, and then to MetLife Stadium after the hospitality party. This year, their pre-game party features have Jerry Rice and Tiki Barber as celebrity hosts.

Vivid Seats: Morning Pick-Up at the Hyatt on 48 and Lexington. After 1pm, pick up at the site of their game day tailgate, which is Redd’s restaurant, located at 317 Washington Ave in Carlstadt, NJ. Phone number (201)-933-0015

NFL Ticket Exchange: Pick-Up Location: Crown Plaza Hotel Time Square, up until kickoff. Located at 1605 Broadway, on 49th street.

Visit TiqIQ’s Super Bowl Page to track all the remaining deals on the market.
