Apple releases New Macintosh Ad A Day After Super Bowl

Apple was rumored to air a Super Bowl ad to mark the 30th anniversary of the legendary 1984 Super Bowl ad introducing the Macintosh. Now a day after the Super Bowl Apple released a commercial titled "1.24.14" Film. It is showing inspiring uses of the Macintosh. There is a slight similarity to the Microsoft Super Bowl 2014 Ad.

Apple says in the commercial description: "Thirty years ago Macintosh promised to put technology in the hands of the people. To celebrate Mac's birthday, this film was shot around the world in one day, entirely on iPhone. Here's to the next thirty."

Watch the Apple Macintosh Happy Birthday ad below. It could have worked for the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 2014 is history and it ended with a historic win of the Seattle Seahawks. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It was the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl but not the coldest in history. Watch all Super Bowl 2014 commercials in our Super Bowl 2014 Ad Gallery. The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
