Apple was rumored to air a Super Bowl ad to mark the 30th anniversary of the legendary 1984 Super Bowl ad introducing the Macintosh. Now a day after the Super Bowl Apple released a commercial titled "1.24.14" Film. It is showing inspiring uses of the Macintosh. There is a slight similarity to the Microsoft Super Bowl 2014 Ad.

Apple says in the commercial description: "Thirty years ago Macintosh promised to put technology in the hands of the people. To celebrate Mac's birthday, this film was shot around the world in one day, entirely on iPhone. Here's to the next thirty."
