Desite Overeeem call out, Lesnar isn't coming back
There is definitely a lot of theatrics that come from the UFC when it comes to fight call outs. For instance, UFC president Dana White had hinted in the past that there was a possibility that Brock Lesnar might come back to the UFC. Lesnar was the heavyweight champion in the UFC for while.

Last weekend the UFC fights saw heavyweight Alistair Overeem call out Lesnar, even though Lesnar is no longer in the league. It seems that Overeem had heard Dana White talking about the potential return of Lesnar.
“I heard word that Brock Lesnar is coming back to the UFC,” Overeem said after Saturday’s victory, which aired on pay-per-view from Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center. “Well, I’ll be here waiting for him.”
However, White has now stepped away from that hint that Lesnar might come back reports MMA Junkie. White said in an interview after the fight that Lesnar is not coming back. You never know though, in a sport where rivalries help profits anything is possible.
“Brock Lesnar is not coming back,” White said. “Brock Lesnar is not fighting. I mean, does he want to come back? We’ve talked about him wanting to come back, and he feels like he wasn’t 100 percent while he was here. He feels like he sold himself a little short and all the stuff I’ve told you before."
“But no, he’s not. We have not deal with Brock Lesnar. He’s not coming back anytime soon.”
