Kia Motors America today reported that it had sold record vehicles in January. Kia sold a record number of 37,011 in January that were led by Optima midsize sedan and the Soul, with 9,979 and 8,092 units, respectively.
Kia Motors America (KMA) announced today that it has sold a record number of vehicles during January 2014. Kia sold 37,011 vehicles in January. The U.S.-built Optima midsize sedan tops this record January sales. 9,979 Optima vehicles were sold last January. And the totally transformed Soul was the second most sold car by Kia in January. 8,092 Soul units were sold in January 2014.
Kia US has also announced today that its all-new K900 flagship sedan with rear-wheel-drive will arrive in showrooms on its scheduled time in this Spring. Kia is already running a multi-platform marketing campaign for the K900 that continued during Sunday’s Big Super Bowl Game with a 60-second spot titled “The Truth.”
The Kia K900 Super Bowl ad showcased “the luxury sedan as something modern and different for the growing number of people who don’t want to be confined by the traditional definitions of luxury.” Kia also said that its first-ever electric vehicle, the Soul EV, and all-new Sedona minivan will also go on-sale this year.
