The next Avengers flick is going to be huge and if you are a fan of the franchise, you will undoubtedly be watching it when the movie launches. If you are a fan of the new Iron Man films, you probably recall the voice of JARVIS, the AI that controls Starks home and the Iron Man suit.
The actor that voices JARVIS is Paul Bettany. Technically, he has been in Marvel movies before, but the is getting an actual visual role in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Bettany will be playing Vision in the film according to MTV. If you don’t read the comic books, you may not recognize that name.
Vision is an android that is apparently popular in the Marvel universe. Bettany turned up at Shepperton Studios this week near London. Reports indicate that it was for a meeting with makeup artists among other things.
"They did a series of costume, hair and make-up tests and worked with stuntmen and armorers," reports The Daily Mail. "Make-up experts were using various powders and potions on Bettany's skin to bring about the Vision's chalk-white complexion."
It will be interesting how they will reconcile Iron Man's JARVIS with Vision. Perhaps the casting of the voice behind JARVIS is an indication that we are supposed to know they are the same actor.
