The rumors and leaks about the HTC M8 have flooded the internet since the past couple of weeks and though we still haven’t seen the official premiere of the phone (which is yet to come), we have got some news on the mini version of M8 or the HTC One 2 as many would like to call it. It is once again the infamous evleaks twitter account which has given the leak on the key specs on the HTC M8 mini. By now we have enough reason as well as evidence to believe the leaks from this twitter account to hold some truth.
The HTC M8 mini version will be powered by the latest Android 4.4 KitKat along with the Sense 6.0 launcher. If you are thinking that this little piece of information was kind of expected and obvious to say the least, wait till you hear about the Snapdragon 400 chipset inside which has turned out to be somewhat surprising. The mini version is most likely to end up with a chipset which is from the similar family as the current one with only a few changes. The two Krait cores for instance will have a replacement by a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU which will run at 1.4GHz.
The mini HTC M8 has a 4.5” screen (measured in diagonal) and the resolution is the same at 720p. the phone will feature a 1 GB RAM and an internal storage of 16 GB which will be expendable by microSD card slot.
