AskMen has crowned Emilia Clarke as the "Most Desirable Woman" this year. Check out why.

Emilia Clarke, best known for her amorous role in the  HBO TV series "Game of Thrones," has been named the  "Most Desirable Woman" this year by AskMen. On its 13th year, AskMen queried both readers and staff to vote for the ideal woman based on the following criteria: sex appeal, character, talent, and overall potential for the year 2014.

Over 1 million votes were collected, AskMen said in a statement.

The 26-year old British actress made it to the top of the list, trumping superstars Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson, Kate Upton, and 95 others.

"No other show has as devoted a fanbase as Game of Thrones. Emilia Clarke may be known mostly for her role as Daenerys Targaryen, but to viewers, the otherworldly beauty is everything. Anticipation is riding crazy-high for the show's return, but we're also looking forward to Clarke's starring role in Dom Hemingway. Mark our words: This will be her year," AskMen said.

Miley Cyrus managed to grab a spot at the last place (99th place).

AskMen publisher James Bassil explained that Miley Cyrus would not make it if it were up to the team alone. "No. 99 seems to be the right spot for her," he told the Lost Angeles Times earlier today.
