Viggo Mortensen stars in The Two Faces of January

Actor Viggo Mortensen is trending this weekend for two reasons. He stars in the upcoming movie The Two Faces of January with Kirsten Dunst. The movie just got presented at Berlin.

The Two Faces of January is a thriller about a con artist having to flee the country. The movie is based on a novel by Patricia Highsmith. She also wrote The Talented Mr. Ripley. You can watch the trailer below. The movie will be in theaters in May in the UK. There is no US release date yet. Watch the trailer below.

The other reason why Viggo Mortensen is trending is a story about WH Auden trying to persuade JRR Tolkien to drop the romance between Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) and Arwen (Liv Tyler) in The Lord of the Rings. According to The Guardian, letters surfaced where WH Auden says that the romance is unncessary. WH Auden was the publisher of JRR Tolkien's book back in the 50s.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
