Thermometers to Monitor Flu

The company that started it all is Kinsa. It did that by connecting such a common medical instrument as the thermometer to the smart phone. And not only does it tell the temperature if you have a fever but it can track any illness you have. That means that any cold, flu or viral infection you have will be detected within a split second.

Therefore you can keep abreast of your health and not allow your immune system to be compromised. While just knowing that you have a fever is insufficient information for health betterment, with the Kinsa-based system you can go ahead and stay ahead of the curve. It is truly an empowering instrument.

The head of Kinsa, Inder Singh previously spent hours providing life-saving medicine to HIV sufferers and other ailing patients. He really feels for a suffering humanity and wants to offer a beacon of hope. He realized soon enough that there was no clear cut way to end the maladies. So he launched Kinsa.

The first gadget to come out of the factory was the Kinsa Smart Thermometer. Fueled entirely by a smart phone, this tubular device allows users to track their health status via downloaded apps. The Kinsa application even allows you to contact a doctor for an appointment anytime anywhere.

The whole gizmo has been created with the family in mind. It allows guardians to take special care of their offspring. Children tend to come in contact with vectors and bacteria. Parents can use the device as a surveillance system for their youngsters’ health and hygiene.

The Kinsa Smart Thermometer works in tandem with several smartphones including the 5S and 5C. It will cost you approximately $20.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
