\According to what the Vice President has said, the company had been working in collaboration with Facebook since quite some time and they were working out the implementation of the instant messaging service on the Windows phone which now seems to be complete and looks good enough to be launched for the customers soon.
Microsoft is certainly moving at a good pace and the previous year had it good for the company with the growth in handset shipments for markets in Italy and UK. The number of apps also grew tremendously in this year and is still growing and this has contributed a lot towards the improvement of customer experience.
