Salma Hayek’s brother Sami is recovering after a major car crash. The passenger, an art director, who was with him died instantly at the moment of impact.
The fatal car crash left both Sami Hayek’s sports car and the Tacoma truck in a mess. Yet miraculously both Sami and the driver of the Tacoma emerged relatively unharmed except for minor injuries.

However, the art director in the passenger’s seat with Sami died on the spot. His name was Ian Cuttler Sala. And he had won a Grammy for his work on Johnny Cash: The Legend.
The man was clearly a very talented genius in the making. His family arrived upon hearing news of his tragic death. The car crash had taken place in the Bel Air region of California.
It was a treacherous bend of the road where Sami’s expensive sports vehicle dangerously careened off its path and collided with a Tacoma pickup truck. Both Sami and the truck driver have suffered a few relatively benign injuries.
Sami has a few broken ribs and a laceration or two to the head. The truck driver had a broken foot and pain in his constitution. While Sami was hospitalized, the truck driver was recovering at home.
Salma Hayek, the actress whose brother was involved in the crash, has not responded to the news yet. The art director who got killed in the accident was an upcoming talent in his field.
Besides being the recipient of an award for the making of a biopic, he had worked with Beyonce in the past. On her Facebook page, Beyonce commented on his passing away by saying “Rest in peace”.
One of the issues in the fatal mishap was the speed of the sports vehicle. It appears to be the case that the car was being driven at a reckless speed way beyond the normal limit.
And although Sami was not taken into custody he will be answerable for transgressing the speed limit. All the citizens are equal before the law and even if one is a famous actress’s brother that does not allow one to be let off scot-free.
