Rumors have been flying that singer Janet Jackson and her husband Wissan Al Mana are getting ready to call it quits. The rumors suggest that the two are seeking a divorce. However, people close to the couple are now saying that the rumors are untrue.
Entertainment Tonight reports that a source told it, "The rumors about their marriage are a lie. They are very happy and very much together. In fact, the couple has recently purchased an even larger home in New York."
Jackson and her husband have been married since 2012, but only admitted to being married in 2013. The wedding is said to have been a quiet ceremony.
"Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy," Jackson and Mana said in their wedding announcement.
Jackson is now 47 and hasn’t been big in the music scene since the 80's and 90's when she had some hit songs. This is the third marriage for Janet Jackson, so she is no stranger to divorce she was married to Rene Elizondo from 1991-2000. Her first husband was James DeBarge in 1984. That marriage lasted only a year.
