Rumors have a way of not only spreading like wildfire but becoming more and more exaggerated the further they travel. Take the case of Janet Jackson’s married life. The pop singer from the famous Jackson family had already gone through two unhappy marriages previously. This is her third but it too is said to be on the rocks.

According to certain sources Janet married Wissam Al Mana for his money. He is a fashion mogul and billionaire whose business is in Qatar. And according to the grapevine Janet is looking forward to ending her nuptials.

This is so that she will get a lump sum amount in cold hard cash from the wealthy Wissam. She is reported to have been making calls constantly to her friends and family. In the telephone calls she is said to have been crying tears of anguish and speaking of how miserable she is.

But sources close to Janet and Wissam say that the two are as happy as ever. The rumors have been dissed as lies and fake propaganda meant to sling some mud on Janet and her loving husband. The problem is who to believe, the rumor mongers or the people who deny the rumors.

It’s a tough decision and only time will be the ultimate judge. The two got married secretly and had a small gathering at their nuptials. They even gave each other wedding presents in the form of donations to their favorite children’s charities.

It was the couple’s request to fans and followers to keep their enthusiasm in low key. Their privacy and confidentiality was to be respected, the two reiterated. But when you have such a public life, the public (and the press) thinks it has a right to scrutinize every detail of your existence.
