While video games come and go at the rate of mayflies in the summer season, some have staying potential. Titanfall may just be one of them. The latest and greatest number from Respawn is ideal for Xbox One owners. And this is the only game that is a game-changer to boot. It will affect the popularity rating of Call of Duty

Call of Duty is the lord of its realm. Some have even gone so far as to say that this new game will wipe out Call of Duty from the scene. It is a shoot-to-kill game alright. The choices in killer avatars you get as a player are three in number.

As for the final endgame option it is where you get a Titan in the form of a tank in which you can stomp around the battlefield. Rather like the Transformers series of movies, this is a scenario of war-torn conflict where killer instincts apply.

The players can choose to play one-on-one or in the form of teams against each other. There are even cameo appearances where players can slip in and take a shot at the enemy when they like to.

While Titanfall and Call of Duty bear some superficial resemblances they are in fact two very different phenomena. In spite of all the action, Titanfall has an alternative flavor to Call of Duty. Yet the fact that the two share some common human creators means that they have several meeting points.

March is the month set for the launch ceremony of this game of games (Titanfall). And it will only feature on Xbox One. PS4 version os this game is not available. It is ultimately the economic struggle and tussle between companies that begets the best products.

The gaming industry is no different. Topmost shooting games will keep their players busy pressing the buttons. And the fact that this stimulation is a healthy addiction and builds hand-eye coordination is all the more reason to keep encouraging this harmless pursuit.
