The Winklevoss Twins are big in Bitcoins and now they spent some to get tickets for space trips on Virgin Galactic.
The Winklevoss twins invested early on in Bitcoins and ore now using some to pay for space trips. Tyler Winklevoss announced in a blog post that he and Cameron bought tickets on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic.
Tyler Winklevoss goes in his blog post back in history to line-up Richard Branson's space travel to the big explorers from the past including Marco Polo, Christopher Columbus and Vasco da Gama.

The ticket prices for the SpaceShipTwo are selling for $250,000. So about 600 space passengers have signed up. The first commercial flight of Virgin Galactic is still scheduled for somewhen this year. The SpaceShipTwo completed its latest super sonic test flight in January.
