The new GS60 Ghost Pro Gaming laptop by MSI

Thanks to CeBIT we have an early look at the new 15.6-inch laptop from MSI which packs inside NVIDIA's unannounced 2014 laptop GPUs. No other information regarding the graphics chip is being revealed by the representatives of MSI but from some assumptions we can make out that it is based on NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture. One small important part of information was revealed which said that the laptop will be capable of handling many of the latest games at high settings on their unit's optional "3K" (2,880 x 1,620) display.

The new MSI laptop is called the GS60 Ghost Pro and it surely is a pleasant thing to look at and even more pleasurable would be owning one. It is only one third of an inche thick (19.5 mm) and weighs only 4.4 pounds. The understated design of the machine will attract the gaming enthusiasts and also the ones who are looking for top power laptops. This is a perfect machine with configurations up to Core i7. It features dual SSD storage with additional HDD, plus 802.11ac WiFi. The first orders will start shipping in from April and the prices will range from $2,200 to $2,800 depending on the specs chosen.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
