LG's Knock Code unlock method comes to G2 and G Flex

Just like LG had promised, it is now going to provide an update version of the basic KnockON feature which is found on the G2 and the G Flex. The new update is going to come with a fresher, newer and a more sophisticated look and an advanved version of the Knock Code technology. The feature was initially launched back in February on the G Pro 2 and at that time the Korean company assured that the technology would come to the other LG models as well. This new security feature is expected to make its way to the new models somewhere in April and it will start working with firmware update. However, like always, there is a bad news too. We are still not sure how many countries are going to get this updated version of the security feature.

If we are aware of the older technology, it only has the ability to switche a screen on or off when you tap it. But the new Knock Code on the other hand allows you to bypass the lock screen altogether. All you have to do is configure the security settings of the phone which will allow the phone to recognize a specific combination of up to eight taps made on four sections of the screen beforehand.
