The Public Enemy member and rapper, Flavor Flav is in big trouble once again. He was caught speeding as well as in possession of marijuana on his way to his mother’s funeral in New York.

The case has been delayed till mid-May. Flavor Flav was found speeding recently. The rap star and reality TV celebrity of sorts will have to show his face again on the due date.

Flavor Flav however himself is a resident of Las Vegas. Via his attorney, he pleaded with the judge dealing with his case to be a little lenient since the flights to New York were quite costly.

The rap star’s real name is William Drayton and Flavor Flav is just a rap avatar he likes to be known by among his many fans. When Flavor was arrested he was driving like a demon on the road from Las Vegas to New York.

Flaor Flav wanted to make it in time for his mom’s funeral. And while this is sufficient justification for speeding in the mind of many, it also endangers other innocent people’s lives, which is a shame.

The rapper also had trace remnants of marijuana in his car. Finally, he was driving without a license. The fact that there were 16 previous law-breaking incidents against this man only strengthened the case.

He was in some pretty serious trouble in Las Vegas as well when he manhandled his girlfriend and wielded knives while chasing her teenage son.

Such horrific rage and violence should not go unpunished no matter what. The disturbed rap star has been facing one misdemeanor after another and by now evidence is piling up that he seriously needs help for his psychopathic ways. While he may be a good artist, as a human being he is unworthy of being called nice in any sense of the word.

Meanwhile, his plea to the judge to have mercy on him, since the airline tickets to the Big Apple have become so damn pricey, may work as a ploy or it may not. It depends on the nature and temperament of the judge.
