Alyson Hannigan has talked about the finale of the series, How I Met Your Mother. This was the favorite star haunt of this female actress.
The best friend role model that Alyson portrays on the television series is going to wrap things up pretty soon. It is indeed “au revoir” to the years of laughs and tears. The finale will occur on the 31st of March.
"I think I did most of my grieving at the end of the season because now I feel like, ‘Oh, that was great!’ This ninth season was shot around so many different schedules, and it was such a weird season that it was almost like our methadone. It was a nice way of getting used to not seeing everyone every day of the week. So it prepared us for the finality of it all," Alyson told Time.
And today, Alyson is a middle-aged star with a bright future in front of her. The fan following is always in search of something new on the show. And the expectations and hopes for the finale have built up beyond belief.
The twists and turns in the narrative and plot of the show have never been as exciting as they are at present. It will be a shame to see it all vanish into thin air once the show goes off the air.
The actions and choices of Lily and Marshall on the show lend the platform a lot of charm and charisma. And the marriage tips that the show is replete with are witty and work in life too.
"I would have been worried about it before I actually knew how the show was going to end. The script was just amazing and wonderful and happy and sad and all of the above," said Alyson Hannigan.
There has been talk of a How I Met Your Dad remake. That would definitely be quite a spinoff. The television series became quite a name in the annals of shows with a high popularity rating.
Alyson Hannigan is going to try on something entirely new after this stint. She will play a character on More Time With Family. This radical departure from type is a welcome change that Alyson is quite happy and satisfied with.
Marriage and sex may have been the topic of How I Met Your Mother, but something entirely different will be the sine qua non of More Time With Family.
