Android's next version likely to be more business friendly
Android without any doubt is doing exceptionally well at the moment and it has managed to capture a huge market share despite the presence of Apple and Windows Phone yet there is something missing. As it appears, the OS hasnt made much mark on the corporate market. Leaving aside the Samsung Knox, the OS hasnt done much to become well suited for corporate use.
But as things get pretty tough in the market, this will have to change and might just change in the coming future because sources from 'he Information' have claimed that the next major Android release will place a much stronger emphasis on office-grade security which will apparently make it fit for use in the corporate world. The new OS will support apps which are going to require their own authentication as well as data storage on secure chips. Also, remote management controls must form part of the new OS and according to some sources, Google is going to unveil the new OS soon at the I/O conference in late June.
