If you are a fan of low budget independent films word has surfaced that a movie called "Affluenza" has been picked up by Filmbuff. The movie will be coming to theaters and VOD outlets on July 11 according to The Wrap.
The movie stars Nicola Peltz from Bates Motel and was directed by Kevin Asch. The move is based on a script by Antonio Macia. The film is set in 2008 and the cast includes Ben Rosenfield (“Boardwalk Empire”), Gregg Sulkin (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Grant Gustin (“The Flash”), as well as Steve Guttenberg and Samantha Mathis maong its stars.
The movie follows Fisher Miller as he escapes a middle-class life to mansions of the wealthy and moves in with his aunt and uncle. He then proceeds to record his Cousin Kate's party lifestyle. Kate is played by Peltz.
