Famous CBS comedy series star Alyson Hannigan aired some of her views regarding various topics of interest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And she tells about her life after the end of 'How I Met Your Mother'.
The one question that everyone was dying to ask Alyson Hannigan was how life is like after HIMYM. Well, she started talking on Jimmy Kimmel Live and some very interesting facts came out in the open. For one thing, she thinks that her age was much simpler than the present one which is somewhat of a complex mess.
Alyson Hannigan declared that this site called Pinterest was a good place to learn things but it also complicated matters way beyond the normal limits. Way back in the good old days when Alyson was a little girl, birthday parties were not materialistic affairs.
You didn’t get presents if you went to one. You took them instead for the birthday boy or girl. But today all that has changed. The pressures to please the little kids who appeared at the birthday bash included arranging games for them and making a lot of arts and crafts from the lessons given on Pinterest.
"But now suddenly it's not good enough to just throw them an awesome party. You have to then give kids that come to your house, you have to get them presents too. They walk away with like swag! And then I get a little crazy because I go on Pinterest and I'm like 'Oh, I can make all that!'" she said.

Alyson has just finished HIMYM and is headed to “More Time With Family”. There is talk of a spinoff of HIMYM which will be called “How I Met Your Dad”. This deconstructed version of the original may elicit quite a few laughs from the crowd.
Alyson has two daughters and she just adores her husband Alexis Denisof who appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her hubby even did a stint on HIMYM as a sneaky and shady anchor. Hannigan confesses to crying away like a fountain on HIMYM. She sure wasted quite a few boxes of tissue paper on the show.
"You know, I think I did most of my grieving at the end of the season because now I feel like, 'Oh, that was great!' This ninth season was shot around so many different schedules, and it was such a weird season that it was almost like our methadone," she said. "It was a nice way of getting used to not seeing everyone every day of the week. So it prepared us for the finality of it all."
The matching of stars that performed on the television series made for quite a quirky and perky viewership. The perennial topics of marriage and love were the linchpin of the funny yet sentimental show. However, Alyson will however be moving on to even bigger and better roles in other settings soon.
