HTC One Asian model meets the US version in AnTuTu

According to some benchmark results, there might not be such a big difference between the performances of these two models

Since the official release, it has all been about the HTC One and we see newer postings everyday flooding on the internet. This time we have news about the benchmarks of the phone coming right out of China and they are more inclined towards revealing what the performance of the Asian HTC One is. This particular Asian model runs on an AC variant of the MSM8974 Snapdragon 801 processor and has a 200MHz faster processor. However, the initial results are very similar performance to the AB model which is available in the US and EMEA regions.

Many tests have been carried out on the phone in order to rank its performance on some scale as opposed to a benchmark and one of such testings has produced a result of 37009 on the AnTutu benchmar. This has fallen somewhat closer to the numbers stated by the China results even though they have higher CPU clock speeds (2.5GHz vs. 2.3GHz). This might leave us wondering how they always end up stacking on the best of the phones. This is a mere subjective conclusion and nothing factual but a possible explanation can be that a non-final testing unit has been used in Asia. Or maybe because there is a different RAM and different storage. There is no way of knowing of sure about this last comment because manufacturers usually don't publish any details regarding this. Though we might think that maybe the storage and memory platforms are not so good in the Asian model, yet we can dig out a very few differences; the performances of the models appear to be similar to one another.
