Hollywood life reports: The season finale of ‘Duck Dynasty’ chronicles the heartfelt days before Jase and Missy’s daughter Mia’s surgery. The entire Robertson family rallies around her as the little girl bravely prepares to go under the knife for the facial condition she’s had since birth.
On the March 26 episode of Duck Dynasty, Jase and Missy Robertson’s little girl has to go through her fifth major surgery. Thankfully, she is a total champ throughout the entire ordeal. Instead of hanging around and feeling bad for herself, 11-year-old Mia Robertson asks for some “family time” so that she can spend the day enjoying herself.
Duck Dynasty usually serves as some sort of comic relief, however, on the March 26 season finale episode of the hit show, things take a much more serious turn. Jase and Missy Robertson’s 11-year-old daughter, Mia, has to undergo surgery in order to repair a facial cleft she has had since she was a baby.
In a clip posted on the A&E website, Jase accurately describes his fearless daughter.
“My daughter Mia is having her fifth surgery, ” he announced. “She’s a tough kid!”
And we definitely agree. Anyone who has five surgeries under their belt at age 11 is definitely ‘tough’ in our books!
The impressive little girl decides not to take advantage of the attention she receives before her surgery, and instead asks her parents to have a simple ”family party.” Most kids would ask for a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese or ice cream, but not little Mia!

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
