There have been rumors of the possibility of a volcanic eruption at Yellowstone National Park sometime this year. The proof that is cited is that many animal species have been spotted trying to flee from the tourist hotspot.
Since animal behavior is a key clue to many weather and geological phenomena hence it is thought that this escape from the park is a sign of impending volcanic activity. But the jury is still out on such an outcome in the future.
Rather this whole propaganda reeks of conspiracy theory. Although an eruption would cover whole metropolises with magma and ash, such an occurrence is highly unlikely. That is because the last explosion occurred in prehistoric times.
That of course was a long time ago. Scientists say that even if there were several earthquakes in no way would that signify the start of volcanic activity.
Of course, many conspiracy theorists have already given the verdict. It’s a sad fact that even in this age of hard core science and nearly 100% accurate measurements, such nonsense still holds value among the deluded masses.
While there may be a kernel of truth in every conspiracy theory in reality it is loser bait. There is simply no danger to the lives of millions of Americans from this relatively benign park.
And although it sits atop a super volcano, the geological monstrosity is dormant and highly unlikely to erupt in a year. It will probably remain in this inactive state for hundreds and thousands of years. So how can it be a hazard to the people of North America?
Yet the kooky conspiracy theorists continue to peddle their lies. By spreading fear and panic, these crazy thinkers of fake thoughts are bringing in the uncontrollable factor of irrationality into the lives of otherwise sensible citizens.
