Soon after Twitter announced its view counts feature for the tweets, Google followed suit

Just a few days earlier, we got to know about the changes being made at Twitter's level when it introduced the new feature of visible view counts to every tweet. Well, where this feature seems to have been widely accepted, Google decided not to stay behind. Google+ is making certain changes which take their initiative from here and the individual profiel page is now going to display the number of vies it has had so far.

Not only this, there will be follower counts alongside the the total number of page clicks, which includes the sum of your profile, post and picture views since October 2012. Though this feature needs to be enabled individually by checking a box in one of the options which appear in the profile setting page but some profiles are already showing their counts by default. For those who dont like the feature, they can easily disable it.
