Samsung Galaxy Tab4 line-up comes in 7, 8, and 10.1-inch sizes
Samsung is a key player in the tablet industry. The company's relentless tablet releases have helped Google's Android OS in becoming the most popular platform, trumping the iPad for the first time.
Although we are seeing a decline in tablet demand, all thanks to the rise of phablets, Samsung is keeping the market alive with the announcement of its latest Galaxy Tab series today. The Galaxy Tab 4 (stylized as Tab4) will arrive in three sizes - 7-inch, 8-inch, and 10.1-inch.'
Unsurprisingly, Samsung is marketing these tablets as the perfect multimedia tools for games, videos, and content. All three models borrow their design from Samsung's Note 3 phablet, donning a faux leather grain and physical navigation buttons.
They also share a few similar specs. The three models are powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 1,280 x 800 screen, a 1.5GB RAM, a 16GB internal storage, a 3-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat under the hood. Samsung will begin selling the new line-up in the second quarter this year. Check out the rest of the specs on Samsung's official page.
