Christie Brinkley looks to sell her 21-acre Hamptons estate

Anyone who grew up in the 80's will remember Christie Brinkley. She was one of the first supermodels and is now 60 years old. Despite being 60, Brinkley is still hotter than a lot of the 20-somethings out there today. Brinkley made a ton of money over the years and has a massive estate in the posh Hamptons where many stars live.

The estate has 21 acres of space and is on Tower hill. Brinkley's ex-husband Peter Cook designed the estate. The property includes an 11-room main house, a guesthouse, and an art studio. It has been on and off the market since 2005 reports Pagesix.com.

Four years ago, it was on the market for $30 million and reportedly drew little attention.

“There has been talk about putting it back on the market,” a friend of Brinkley’s told me. “But she’s not leaving the Hamptons. She has other homes in the area she is currently renovating.”

Her 2008 divorce settlement said that Brinkley had to live within a 25-mile radius of Tower Hill until the couples kids are out of high school. She doesn't have much longer to wait; her daughter is now 16 and will be out of high school in a few years. There is no word on how much she will be asking for the property.

An insider said, "She might still keep a base in the Hamptons, but her kids are [nearly] grown. She’s looking to sell now while the market is hot.”
