Gary Busey is Awesome in Amazon Fire TV Ad

Amazon unveiled their Apple TV killer last week. The Amazon Fire TV has one killer feature no other streaming box has so far: voice controlled search. To emphasis this feature, Amazon published a one minute commercial starring Gary Busey. Veteran actor Gary Busey is best known for roles in 80s and 90s action movies including Lethal Weapon, Point Break, and Under Siege. He has a certain weirdness that also comes across perfectly in the Amazon Fire TV ad.

Watch the Gary Busey ad below.

The Amazon Fire TV sells for $99 on Amazon.com. The Amazon Fire TV leads the Electronics Bestseller charts on Amazon.com. On 2nd place is the $29.99 Google Chromecast followed by the Kindle Paperwhite. The $49.99 Roku 3500R Streaming Stick is 4th. The Apple TV is on rank 8. It is time for Apple to upgrade Apple TV in a major way to jump to the top again.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
