Archie Comic Book Character, Archie Andrews, will Die

Archie Comics is a globally renowned comic book publisher that releases many famous pop culture comic books including: Archie, Jughead, Betty & Veronica, Josie & The Pussycats, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Afterlife with Archie.

Archie Comics is also the home of the most popular humor, action-adventure and superhero characters in entertainment, including Archie, Jughead, Betty & Veronica, Reggie, Kevin Keller, Josie and the Pussycats, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Afterlife with Archie, The Fox, The New Crusaders, The Shield, Li’l Jinx and many more.

But Archie Comics has announced that it is going to end its popular comic series of "Life With Archie". And to conclude this series, the iconic character of Archie Andrews will die.

Archie Andrews is a legendary comic book character that has been alive and well since the past 70 years. This iconic character has millions of fans worldwide. But now he will sacrifice his life heroically in order to save his friend's life.

Archie Comics will kill its legendary comic book character in July in the final version of the hit series. The July issue will be the 36th one of "Life with Archie". It will also be the final issue in the flash-forward series, which portrays Archie’s adventures after high school and college.

“We’ve been building up to this moment since we launched LIFE WITH ARCHIE five years ago, and knew that any book that was telling the story of Archie’s life as an adult had to also show his final moment,” said Archie Comics Publisher/Co-CEO Jon Goldwater.

“Archie has and always will represent the best in all of us—he’s a hero, good-hearted, humble and inherently honorable. This story is going to inspire a wide range of reactions because we all feel so close to Archie. Fans will laugh, cry, jump off the edge of their seats and hopefully understand why this comic will go down as one of the most important moments in Archie’s entire history. It’s the biggest story we’ve ever done, and we’re supremely proud of it.”

The final story of Life with Archie will be available in many formats. Life with Archie #36 will be the final version that will be available in an extra-large magazine-size issue. However, Archie Comics will release two final issues for the comic book series— Life with Archie #36 and #37.

Life with Archie #36 will reveal the final moments of Archie Andrews while #37 will show the next one year. Life with Archie #37 will furthermore show how the remaining members of the Riverdale gang will honor their dead friend's legacy. These remaining members include Jughead, Betty & Veronica and Reggie.

Both the stories in these two issues will be combined in the double-sized Life with Archie #36 magazine issue. And the company will also release a trade paperback issue of the whole story, written by regular Life with Archie writer Paul Kupperberg, with art by Pat & Tim Kennedy and Fernando Ruiz.

Archie Comics is a big name that has sold over two billion comics worldwide. And its comics are also published around the world in many other languages. In addition to comics, Archie characters have also been featured prominently in animation, television, film and music.
