Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear Fit rolls out to 125 countries

Today is a big day for Samsung. Why? Well, the South Korean technology giant is announcing the global launching of its flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S5, today in 125 countries. The list includes the U.S. and other countries in Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and Asia.

And, of course, the global launch won't be complete without Samsung's latest wearables, namely, the Samsung Gear 2, the Gear 2 Neo, and the Gear Fit.

For the undecided, there are a few compelling reasons to upgrade. For one, the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the fastest processor to date. It's also built to last, thanks to its IP67 dust and water-resistant qualities.

Major carriers in the U.S. are selling the phone for $199.99 on top of a two-year contract. Meanwhile, the Gear Fit and the Gear 2 Neo are selling for around $199. The Gear 2 costs more at $299. Samsung has also posted a new advert on YouTube, praising the features of the Galaxy S5.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
