The Korean tech giant is planning to leave behind Apple and plans to ship as many as 100 million tablets this time

As we are hearing it from ZDNet Korea, Samsung is planning to increase its tablet market share in the first quarter and now it will reach to a good 23%. Some unnamed senior executive has revealed that for the first quarter, Samsung has managed to ship 14 million tablets. This surely seems to give some improvement to Samsung and shows how their market share is now going to increase further because this sales number is higher than the one from the previous quarter by a huge difference of 200,000 units.

Despite of this, the market share seems to lag behind and a major player in this regard is Apple (particularly the iPads). Samsung is hoping that it would be able to takeover Apple this year by moving as many as 100 million tablets. This is going to be done through introducing the tablets to almost every price range there is and this would mean from entry level to high end tablets such as the Galaxy Note 12.2 LTE.
