Dancing With The Stars partners and rumored lovebirds Peta Murgatroyd and James Maslow were certainly relieved to return to their partnership after a very stressful switch-up week. The couple’s amazing chemistry may very well be responsible for the perfect score they earned last night — the first of the season!
Everyone thought that Meryl Davis was unstoppable, but based on last night’s results, this may not be the case. If anyone’s capable of knocking the skater off her pedestal, it’s James Maslow. Facebook fans were relieved to see James and his partner Peta together again, particularly when they learned that the two would be dancing to Let It Go, the hit song from Frozen.
Peta and James’ contemporary was even better than fans were anticipating. The judges certainly approved of the dance, with Len Goodman claiming that it could easily “melt the coldest heart, even mine.” Bruno Tonioli agreed, referring to the performance as a “contemporary blockbuster.” Altogether, Peta and James earned forty points for the dance, putting them at the top of the leader board.
Many of Peta and James’ Twitter followers argue that the duo’s incredible chemistry could only arise from their alleged status as a couple. Peta was certainly quick to acknowledge this close relationship on her latest People blog, explaining, “You bond with your partner from week one, and to have him gone for a week was really weird. We’ve just got this chemistry that is like no other as reported by Reality TV.”
