LG announces the Champagne Gold edition for G Watch

LG's G Watch was revealed alongside the Android Wear announcement so we know that LG has already been working on this new G Watch and the company has now posted a few pictures of the upcoming gadget but they were careful not to reveal any specs. Alongside this, LG has also announced the Champagne Gold version.

Although LG has remained mum on the spec but there are few things which have been disclosed just because they are too obviously known through the pictures. The G Watch has a square display of 1.65″ 280×280 pixels and from what the pictures have displayed, we can clearly see how the watch is going to work in practical terms. The LG G Watch is not only water and dust resistant but it is also “always-on” as LG has stated.

As far as the Android Wear is concerned, it is heavily relying on Google Now since it helps the users to place searches, get directions and various information, play music and it’s cool to see it in action from LG’s photos. Since no official specs have been revealed, there have been rumors going around that the watch will feature a 512MB of RAM and it has a strong internal storage of 4 GB. Summer is just around the corner and this is perfect season for smartwatches which will now be in full swing. It is excpected that the Android Wear is very likely to be fully unveiled at Google I/O 2014.
