Top 5 tablets for the first quarter of 2014

The evolution of mobile companies to create tablets is one of the best creations in the technology world. These companies are responsible for producing a device that lies in between the normal mobile phone and a computer, with feature laying more on the computer side.

There are many tablet brands hat people have come up with, but amongst every list, there has to be the best. Here are the top 5 tablets for the first 3 months of 2014

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) (http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/2014galaxynote10.1/)

This is a highly impressive full size tablet (usually a full size tablet has 8.9 inch or bigger screens) with a 10.1 inch screen that brought about all sorts of firsts in the Android market. For example, one of the bigger firsts was the implementation of the s-pen. This tablet has a comfortable user size and also has a classy look compared to the earlier versions. This device takes up where Galaxy Note 8 left – with bigger and better features. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 costs about $599.99 for 64GB model.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) (http://www.google.com.ph/nexus/7/)

This tablet is known to be super-fast. This device is fast, thin, light, and well built. It has the best speakers and it supports wireless charging. It was also the first tablet to run the 4.1 Android version (Jellybean).

Sony Xperia tablet Z2 (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/tablets/xperia-z2-tablet/)

This is one of the sleekest tablets of all time. With the best record of the thinnest and the lightest in the market, this tablet doesn’t give space for competition. The tablet starts at about $499.99 for a 16GB model. This device has a water proof chassis and a gorgeous display which distinguishes it from the rest. It’s also one of the first tablets to be equipped with Qualcomm 1.5GHz snapdragon S4 pro processor, paired with a 2GB RAM. This device can be used up to around 20 feet under water for up to 30 minutes without being damaged.

Apple iPad Air (Wi-Fi) (https://www.apple.com/ipad-air/)

It is also one of the best designed tablets ever made. This tablet has a slim lightweight design with a super sharp and bright screen. This device has an all day long battery which is strong enough to withstand the multiple running applications. This iPad weighs only one pound. It also contains the same processor i.e. the A7 as the iPhone 5s. Its usual starting price is $499 for a 16GB Wi-Fi only version.

Asus Transformer pad Infinity TF700 (http://eee.asus.com/en/transformer-infinity/features)

It is one of the devices that can transform into something more of a laptop with a battery life well beyond what you will get from most Window-based machines. It has a price of $499 for a 32 GB model and $599 for a 64GB model with the keyboard extension at $149.
