The singer portrays five different characters in her latest video to hit the market.
Katy Perry's new video for her latest album Prism has turned some heads in recent days. The video "Birthday" features Perry portraying five different characters that are set to crash birthday parties all across the country.
The World's Worst Birthday Party Entertainers starts off with Perry doing a mock up interview while dressed as each character, starting with a frail Las Vegas entertainer that has been washed up, a Jewish comedian, clown that is trying to make extra money on the side, children's petting zoo animal trainer, and face painting princess.
According to reports, no one at the events knew that it was Katy Perry dressed as party crasher. This might explain the looks of disgust as she performs a strip tease at an elderly party. Other reports also state she reduced a group of children to tears after she wandered into the street while in her clown outfit, and caused an oncoming car to crash into a parked car during their gathering.
Perry has never been known to shy away from doing outlandish things while in the spotlight. Her previous video "Dark Horse" has over 256 million views since being released this February. The "Birthday" video was co-directed by Mark Klasfeld and Danny Lockwood; who also worked with Katy Perry in the 2011 music video Last Friday Night.
