Herschel Walker Makes Bold Claim

Herschel Walker is in the news these days with a bold claim he made in an interview with USA Today Sports. Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker was big in the 1980s. Now at 52 he claims he still has what it takes to play in the NFL.

He said to USA Today Sports : "I can play in the NFL today. I couldn’t take every snap. But running backs nowadays don’t play every down. Now they send in the choir section. Physically, I can still do it."

Herschel Walker is a pretty interesting guy. After his NFL career he ventured in mixed martial arts. His last MMA fight was at age 48 and he won it. He is now a business man involved in several ventures. According to USA Today there will be a big announcement about a new e-commerce venture.

Herschel Walker said a couple years ago that he is doing 3,500 sit ups and 1,500 push ups per day.
