Apple iWatch is going to debut in the third quarter of this year
With so much anticipation of the iPhone 6, the Apple iWatch has been ignored up till now when we finally got to the news that the device is going to debut in the third quarter of this year and is all set to make its appearance. From the reports which we have been getting from China, the production process for the iWatch has already begun but Apple is being careful not to manufacture the watch in large quantities.
For quite some time the debate had been going on whether Apple would ever enter into the most recent smart watch phenomenon and it looks like Apple had to give up to the popular occurrence. When Google unveiled the Android Wear, other competitors were soon ready to follow the footsteps and Apple also has some catching up to do now.
A recent report from The China Times reveals that the watch is going to feature system-in-package (SiP) design, which would enable one module to include several different chips. We have also heard that the iWatch is going to be packed with multiple sensors. The high tech features might be necessary here since Apple is going to face some tough competition. Even Nike has entered this segment and we recently heard that the company had laid off some workers which were on the team of FuelBand smartwatch and since then the reports have been suggesting that the two companies are going to partner for another fitness related product this year.
