The Google’s approach towards Glass has rather been seen with uncertain emotions and just because it has repeatedly been mistaken for other things it has managed to get itself some negative reputation over the past few months. This has so happened in most bars where patrons mistook Glass wearers as explorers who just want to record each move of those around them. In order to put this image right to where it belongs, Google has encouraged the Glass wearers to go out this Saturday night wearing their Glass hardware.
Some people might think of this as a nightmare because surely not everyone is fond enough of a bar full of people wearing their Google Glass. But this night out is going to serve a good purpose in educating the people about the use of Google Glass and to convey the message, masses will be more effective than an individual walking around wearing the Glass. This #GlassNightOut is also beneficial in terms of socializing since the Glass wearers are going to mingle and find others of their kind.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
