In an effort which brings together two of the most popular and loved franchises of all times

Lego has been the heritage of our childhood days and it still remains to be a legendary theme for not only the kids but the adults too who once grew up building things with it. The pop culture however has recently been making use of the Lego theme a lot and the success of The Lego Movie was quite inevitable. Even after decades, people still hadn’t forgotten their Lego days and this made the movie an instant hit with not just the kids but the elders likewise. Simpsons, the most popular TV cartoon show of all times, didn’t stay behind for long and after the release of the Lego set, we will have the best of both worlds: a “Simpsons Lego Spectacular” airing on Fox this Sunday for the show’s 550th episode.

A trailer has also been revealed for this and it might be something very intriguing because it is not your usual Simpsons trailer after all. Homer and the entire Springfield has been transformed to suit the Lego versions of themselves. They had turned into Lego beings after going through some supernatural process most probably related to related to a Pretty Patty’s Princess Shop playset (say that three times fast) purchased at the local comic shop.

This is surely something huge because it brings together two of the most popular franchises of all times. most of us are probably thinking that just a little more could have been done for The Lego Movie and some more imaginative processes put together might have added something more than just the exact follow up of the script word by word. The movie was more towards the charming side.
