This would be their first face to face appearance after the breakup and surely 'awkward' is in the air

The fairytale of Rob and Kristen Stewart might sound like something from another century but it is indeed true that it’s not an easy deal to forget about the past and this is the dilemma faced by Kristen Stewart who was clearly not in the mood to run into ex lover Robert Pattinson at the Cannes Film Festival. The fact that she still feels awkward is not surprising because this would be the ex couple’s first time coming face to face after the breakup. ‘Dreading;’ is the right word to explain what Kristen Stewart is feeling.

The decision to end their relationship didn’t make the Twilight fans so happy and they made quite an effort to keep the news under the hood. However, the surprise came in when Kristen Stewart was spotted with Rupert Sanders and their hot and heavy makeout sessions were not so easy to keep under the shadows for long. Speaking to Now, a source said that "Awkward is an understatement. Kristen hates confrontation, so seeing Rob will be strange for both of them." The statement has been mocked for speaking of Rob being awkward too. We aren’t really sure about this one because apparently Rob sees himself everyday in the mirror but anyway, jokes aside, we do get the point.

"They have a lot of history together. Feelings don't disappear over night," the insider added. Though the couple has ended everything face to face but ever since they broke up, they haven’t faced each other in any professional setting so far.
