Alicia Silverstone recalls memories related to her 1995 cult classic 'Clueless' at a reunion event held on Tuesday, May 6, at the Nokia Theater for an L.A. Film Festival.
When Alicia Silverstone along with several other members of the cast of Clueless got together on Tuesday the fans just went crazy. The 1995's cult movie had in it besides Alicia, who played the lead role of Cher Horowitz, the following cast members: Stacey Dash (played Dionne Davenport) and Elisa Donovan (palyed Amber Mariens). An eyewitness at the event tells US Weekly that "fans went wild" when the whole cast of 'Clueless' reunited with the film's creator/director Amy Heckerling for a Q&A session on stage.

According to Heckerling, when she saw Alicia flip the bird in the Aerosmith video “Crying” she knew she had found the girl who would play center stage in Clueless.
"I am so lucky that they were all out there at the time," Heckerling said at the Clueless reunion event. "I saw the 'Cryin' video for Aerosmith and when Alicia gave the finger, I said, 'There's my girl.'"
The director had made previous hits such as Loser and Look Who’s Talking. Heckerling admitted that the moment she set eyes on Alicia she liked her immensely.
Alicia Silverstone meanwhile spoke of how the part she played in the movie was a whole lot of fun. Alicia was merely 18 years old when she played the role of Cher in Clueless. And she played it very well.
"I thought I was channeling Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball," Silverstone told. "And obviously that wasn't the case," she joked. "But I just felt like that! Especially when I pushed [Elton] off [of me at a house party]," she continued. "Those were the things that I found lovely."
Silverstone’s role of Cher was an admixture of Lucille Ball and Marilyn Monroe. She portrayed someone who was almost given the royal treatment in terms of privilege and was no less an authority than any governing body.
Other members also spoke of how they had such a fine time just being a part of the enterprise. The whole ensemble on set had a sort of magic to it. Everyone was in the prime of their youth and things were so fresh and freedom was in the air.
"We had so much fun," Stacey Dash, 47, recalled of filming. "[Heckerling] had such a clear vision and she was able to translate it to us perfectly."
The director also talked about fun memories onset. She said, "It was a fun group. I don't like getting up and going to work, but in this case, I was so happy every day."
"Just as everyone said, it was such a magical experience," said Donovan, 43, who played mean girl Amber in the film. "That was my first movie," she explained. "So to have such an extraordinary group of people, and to have everybody be young, and have so much fun, it was amazing."
In fact, all the movie stars who were in Clueless were more than ecstatic to be reunited one more time. It was like reviving old memories of the songs of yesteryear.
The get together and celebration was a beautiful experience indeed. Among some of the other cast members were: Paul Rudd and Donald Faison. The late Brittany Murphy’s dad was among those present on the scene.
