Besides the size, the major difference is the new placement of the power button
Apple hasn’t done much to change the appearance of its phones over the years and if we look back through the years and the respective models, we see very little revolution taking place. However, the iPhone 6 is surely going to make Apple repent for having followed this monotonous journey. Recent pictures have leaked and they show the dummied version of the iPhone 6 being compared to the iPod touch 5th-gen. Since the iPhone 6 is going to make an appearance with the 4.7 inch model first, the phone depicted in these pictures is the smaller variant. The larger 5.5 inch model will soon follow after a couple of days.
Apart from the size, the major difference between these devices is the placement of the power button. The power button has been moved away from the top of the device and now has been made to sit along the side, atop those aforementioned volume buttons. The change in the location of this major button is not merely done to just have a ‘change’ but it has been there for the convenience of the customers. With the phone changing insize, it was important to place the button in such a place which would be comfortable for users.
Though the iPhones each time succeed to attract a lot of attention from the audience and with every new model each year, the hype seems to increase. But the iPhone 6 has had some really great hype and it has generated more anticipation from people majorly because of the new changes.
