Windows Phone 8.1 Official RollOut to Begin June 24th

According to Microsoft’s recent announcement, the official support for Windows Phone 8.1 is going to start off from June 24th 2014 and this means we should soon be hearing about the official rollout of the biggest software update. It has also been suspected that this might come along another major news which will probably be the launch of the Lumia 930 perhaps.

Like always the Windows Phone 8.1 update is going to get guaranteed 36 months of software support which means that it will be refreshed after every software update in the future. Microsoft is going to make updates available for the Operating System for a minimum of 36 months after the lifecycle start date and these updates will also include the security updates. Though these updates are going to be incremental in nature but they will basically be built upon the previous update which preceded them. For full support, the customers of the software will themselves have to install the updates to stay updated at all times.
