The phone launches today in India, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Canada
The Motorola E finally goes official with the company’s dedicated press events in Dehli and London today. Only a few days earlier we had the budget phone’s list of specs which had leaked prior to the official announcement. Look no further because there will be no surprises anymore; the phone has has gone official. Though it is a budget phone but we can sure of it that it is nothing which makes it a lower end phone.
The phone features a 4.3” scratch resistant display which has been built with the Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top and the qHD resolution with a pixel density of 256 ppi is the cherry on top. The company clearly states that with the Moto E it wanted to build a stronger phone which would last for longer and thus it has been built with water resistant display.
Moving on to the inside of the phone, the phone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat but Motorola has promised that the phone will receive all the timely updates of Android in the future. The RAM includes 1 GB of RAM and features 4GB of internal memory, of which just 2.21GB is available but the good news that it is expandable with up to 32GB microSD card. The smartphone launches today in India, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Canada and it is expected to retail at a price of £89 or roughly €110. In India the phone is selling on Flipkart for $117 (INR 6999).
